Got the key to my new apartment and I can move in tomorrow.
You know what a home is to me? It’s a place I can take off my pants that is not this hotel room.
yay we have a large crew so I don’t have to go back in till 1800!
Also I have a glow in the dark nalgene bottle that I’m too lazy to lift so here is what my face looks like when I use a straw.
Okay so I already showed you my process of getting in uniform. Equally as exciting for me: getting off work and into civvies. It’s so maaaaaaaaagical. Liberty is MAGICAL.
This is Katy my Kangaroo.
My mom bought her from a second hand store when I was a kid (we were pretty poor growing up) and I have a very vague memory of my excitement when I found her. The only other stuffed animal I have from my childhood is a bunny my dad bought from the hospital gift shop when I was born. Her name’s Moonstone. She and Katy are bros, but Katy’s the one I took everywhere. I even have pictures of us together at the Sequoia National Park and things like that. After I graduated from boot camp, I got a package from my mom and inside were Katy and Moonstone. I really don’t care if I’m in the military now. Katy is still going with me everywhere.
Unbelievably tired. Pardon my goofy face.
Raaaain. I’m all rained on. And tired. So, so tired. Send me stuff. I’m late crew tonight.
JUST LOOK AT HOW BORED I AM
Please tell me things. I didn’t feel like going out tonight so now I’m bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored no longer looks like a word to me
Thought I’d share this process with you. Doesn’t matter how many times I put on this uniform. Every single time it amazes me to see myself go from Mary to MM3 Morales, a Petty Officer of the Navy.
